On The Scene at Jamie Oliver's Test Kitchen, Opening To The Public Tomorrow

New, 9 comments

Jamie Oliver hits home turf. This is the scene, just moments ago, outside Jamie's Kitchen on Westwood Blvd, local news parked out front and production crew galore. Today marks the first day of filming for season two of Oliver's Food Revolution, the Emmy Award winning series that chronicles the chef/activist's attempt to change the way children and adults eat in America.

Unfortunately, producers wouldn't let anyone inside the test kitchen today, and shortly after these photos were taken, shades were drawn so nobody could see the filming inside. Gr. However, tomorrow Jamie's Kitchen opens for all. Oliver plans to gather the public, mostly parents upset that the LAUSD (LA Unified School District) has barred him from infiltrating LA school to introduce healthier menus. More to come.
