Haven Gastropub Replaces Brix 42 in Old Town

New, 9 comments

Into the former Brix 42 space comes an extension of Orange County's Haven Gastropub. With early success (opened September 2009), owners expanded north, bringing Old Town residents a new spot to refuel on gastropub fare (like this) sourced locally and sustainably when possible. Naturally, Haven Gastropub focuses on beer, though wine and spirits are available too, anticipate small production craft beers (like these). Finally some life in this area. Remember, right across the street lies the still vacant Twin Palms, and just on the corner is the old JJ's Steak House. [EaterWire]
