Inside The Animal Boys' New 3rd Street Seafood (?) Restaurant

New, 5 comments

The windows are still papered over at Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo's (Animal) new restaurant that Eater has been tracking and tracking and tracking. So far sources have confirmed that this restaurant, unlike Animal, will serve booze (not just beer and wine), offer a similar menu (to that of Animal), and display "tea-stained wood, antique lighting and vintage cabinetry." Now, glance up above, some of that design is visible, most notably wooden wall paneling, those tall old school wooden bar stools plus shorter modern stools, wooden tables, and what appears to be a bar against the far wall. Rewind for a sec. Mondette heard that this place might focus on seafood and offer an oyster bar, in that second to last photo check out the twine, and on the left wall one can see a life preserver further substantiating the whole aquatic theme. Many signs point to some type of seafood situation. Oh, and according to a neighboring business, this spot should open by the end of the month. More to come. ·All Animal Coverage [~ELA~]
