Oyy. Up above, "Home of the biggest sandwich in town," New York Deli, serving Pasadena since November 1. It all started back in 1985 when husband and wife duo, Mr. and Mrs. Omar Temory, launched New York Deli in Torrance, due to an overwhelming response and steady success they now bring oversized pastrami sandwiches and matzoh ball soup to Pas. The menu spans the gamut offering east coast standbys like pita sandwiches and Reubens, burgers make an appearance, as does fish & chips, definitely only of those HUGE overstocked menu situations. Open daily from 10AM-8PM. [EaterWire]
