Partners Uday Sehgal, Scott Kay, and Tony Young are excited to be nearing the home stretch of their forthcoming 140-seat restaurant and bar, Wood & Vine. Positioned in the historic Taft building just next door to the W in Hollywood, the 4,000 square foot space is quite obviously still under construction but, after final inspections, should open in just a few weeks. Check out that spacious redwood-decked back patio (with fire pit!) and examples of the restaurant's rustic furniture. The trio chose to hire chef Gavin Mills, most recently executive sous at Bastide, to craft an American farm-to-table small plate menu. To drink, classic cocktails, micro brews, and boutique wines.
