LAW takes a look inside Steve Samson and Zach Pollack's Sotto and discovers that, rather than buying a pizza oven here in the US, the duo imported 15,000 pounds of materials and the pizza oven designer himself straight out of Naples, Italy. Stefano Ferrara, "a third-generation Neapolitan oven-builder," has built fewer than 10 ovens around the country including Mario Batali's pizza oven inside Eataly. All this work for just six to eight pizzas on Sotto's menu, the restaurant is expected to open around February 25. [LAW]
