Although chef Andre Guerrero doesn't debut his forthcoming Italian concept, Maximiliano, until tomorrow, Highland Park Patch popped by last night for an early bite. For the most part, "[d]on’t expect heavy red sauces or lots of meat. Maximiliano leans more toward reasonably priced ($6 to $18) vegetable and seafood dishes." On the menu there's brandade with salsa verde flatbread; potato pizza composed of potato, spinach, garlic, and cheese; and to cap off the meal, a lemon tart with strawberry sauce and olive oil, caramel, sea salt ice cream.
