Los Angeles Food Establishment Missed Connections

Although the dining rooms of LA are filled with many happy couples, they are also inhabited by lovesick diners looking to catch the eye of that special someone. Sometimes, these patrons take to Craigslist, to try and find that guy or girl who they saw from across the dining room, but weren’t able to muster the courage to approach. Here now are a few restaurant missed connections — perhaps love is on the menu soon.

Aroma Cafe (m4w): "It was about noon in North Hollywood/Studio city on 10/07 at "The Aroma Cafe". I first made eye contact with you while I was standing near the table that you were sitting at. we were both waiting for our Coffee. You we're classy, long brown hair and beautiful looking dressed in all black. I had short brown hair, a long sleeved black dress shirt, and a pair of jeans on. I got in your way when we were fixing our coffee and I told you that I was sorry that I was taking up the whole table. I told you it was my first time here, and you told me how great of a place Aroma was, and how amazing the coffee was...I think it would be really amazing to be able to see you again."

Costco (m4w): "THURSDAY the 13th - You were handing out samples in the candy aisle wearing all black. I forget exactly what you were offering samples of ( maybe a trail mix) cause I just couldn't stop staring at how gorgeous you looked. I passed by several times with my cart and even made a phone call in the aisle you were working out of. You are tall and have a beautiful face. If you remember me and want to talk, get a hold of me."

Rosewood Tavern (m4m): "This is one in a million.... but.... You were sitting with two ladies at the long table. I was at the bar. You have great eyes and smile Our eyes found each ohter a few times, When I finished my meal and headed over you had left. Bad luck. I wanted to get your number. So here's to putting this out in the universe."

Bigfoot West (m4w): "We talked for a while tonight and I enjoyed every minute of that while but then I answered a phone call and then you all exited into the night. I usually try to get the exact spelling of the names of people I meet who have names with variant spellings but I did not and thus the subject of this posting. I would much rather be talking to you about bar menus or getting high and cleaning or precise gesticulations instead of pursuing degenerate activities. Thank you for supporting print media and if you want to hang out again reply to the strange craigslist anonymous e-mail or infer the first 6 letters of my last name at gmail.com."

Harvard & Stone (w4m): "Where did you go? I wanted to talk more but I think you misread my shyness. My gf told me about this site and 'missed connections.' Does anyone really check this?"

Starbucks (m4w): "I can't stop thinking about you all day. Hot Brunette. Wearing a low cut blue top with tight black pants. You stood in line behind me and the tension was hot. You coughed on me then smiled. I could not keep my eyes off of your nice full breasts and that killer big booty. I think you noticed my chubby that was clearly visible through my tight jeans. We smiled at each other when we left and you jumped into your little black VW wagon. We need to continue the flirtation and see each other naked soon. Hoping you see this. Let's at least meet for a drink."

Vanguard (m4w): "You were with your girlfriend most of the night (Friday) at her jewelry table in the back patio at Vanguard Hollywood on Friday night. You were wearing a blue and multi color dress and brunette/dark hair. You had a very thin, sexy body. Oh wow! I went up to you and told you that you were the most beautiful girl in the place. I was with a few friends that wanted to walk around, so I left. I regret not talking to you and getting your number. I really really really want to ask you out. If you are her, please contact me. I promise I am a good guy and would love to take you out on a date."
