Papilles Updates, Dog Haus Biergarten Opens Soon, More

New, 1 comment

HOLLYWOOD— Santos Uy has most likely picked a location for Papilles, his new French bistro. Later this week he's set to sign a lease to take over Raffallo's at 6221 Franklin Blvd. If all goes according to plan (which it never does) it should take two to three week to remodel and could open around late November to early December. MEALS ON WHEELS— Grub Street spots a soon to launch Japanese curry truck called A Curry On Wheels. Expect beef, chicken, pork, and "plain" curry, in addition to a couple deep fried preparations. The truck might launch next week. T. F. [Grub Street]

PASADENA— Dog Haus is expanding with Dog Haus Biergarten, set to grand open at 6PM on October 29 at 93 E. Green Street in Old Town. That night the venue will host an opening Halloween-themed party from 7-10PM. Upping the ante from the original Dog Haus, this new location offers classic cocktails, vino, and more than 20 German and California craft beer avail in bottle and on tap. Of course there's that creative list of both hot dogs and burgers as well. [EaterWire]

STUDIO CITY— Per a banner posted outside Take A Bao in Studio City, the restaurant will open on October 31. [EaterWire]
