In a very sad turn of events, Nancy Silverton's partner in Short Order and Short Cake, Amy Pressman, has passed away of cancer at age 53. Pressman was the creator of Old Town Bakery in Pasadena and influenced many other restaurants throughout the city. She will be missed. [LAT]
