K-TOWN— In June when siblings Bricia and Fernando Lopez (Guelaguetza) announced the shutter of Pal Cabron, Bricia said, "Great things are still to come!" and then continued on to talk about mezcal. Now comes word that The Mezcaleria at Guelaguetza soft opens today. Inside the Oaxacan restaurant there is a new bar that stocks about 50 or so mezcals and if you drop Bricia's name she might pour you a taste of her secret hidden stash. [Urban Daddy]
HOLLYWOOD— Hmm. Vahagun Safarian has sold Le Croissant Club on Hollywood Blvd (that alcove area where Jane's House used to sit) though will remain a partner in the new venture called Secret Restaurant. [EaterWire]
WEHO— Mezze has introduced a new fleet of craft beers to its menu. For the month of October chef Micah Wexler will offer a $50 prix fixe of Mediterranean dishes paired with the new craft brews.
