As part of Chinese Food Week, Eater asked a mixed batch of non-Chinese restaurants to come up with a special Chinese dish as a tribute to the week. Every day this week, we'll be highlighting a different Chinese Food Week special, starting today with Church & State's Confit Duck Spring Roll. Up above, see chef Jeremy Berlin in action. He says this dish is a blend of Chinese and Japanese cuisines but still incorporates French technique for the duck leg. The plate costs $9 and is offered at dinner from today through November 12 (except for Sunday November 6).
There's no need to wait until a dish is featured to try it. See the full list of participating restaurants and their specials here.
