AROUND TOWN— Long-time David Myers Group pastry chef Ramon Perez has departed. He was in charge of baked goods at Comme Ca LA and LV, Pizzeria Ortica, Sona and Boule (pre shutters), and worked on Myers' projects abroad. [EaterWire]

Viceroy EC Tony DiSalvo and Chef de Cuisine Chris Crary (who made his Top Chef debut last night) will shave fresh black and while truffles over pizza pies every Friday in November from 6-10PM.
