Marino Ristorante Updates, Voltaggio Book Signing, Common Threads Foodie Benefit

MID-CITY— Celebrating 28 years of service, Marino Ristorante has updated its interior. The restaurant boasts a new facade, refreshed interior following its past aesthetic, and Sal Marino (son to owner Ciro Marino who passed away two years ago) of Il Grano steps in to change the menu via dishes like cavatelli pasta with black walnut pesto, and risotto with smoked prosciutto and radicchio. WEHO— Common Threads, a charity founded by Art Smith which teaches underprivileged kids to cook, is holding its first "World Festival" tomorrow at The London hotel. Sixteen chefs, inclusive of Antonia Lofaso, Bill Kim, Neal Fraser, Tal Ronnen, David LeFevre, Stefan Richter, and more will set up tasting booths from 6-9PM and 100% of the $150 ticket sales go straight to the organization.
