Crane's Hollywood Tavern Moves Downtown, New NCTL Resto Space Up For Grabs

New, 1 comment

Crane's Hollywood Tavern, that random Hollywood dive off the beaten path on El Centro, shuttered months ago, at which point Mark and Johnny Houston of La Descarga and Harvard & Stone chimed in to take over. However, Crane's has yet to breathe its last breath because management will reopen the bar in the bank vault basement space of National City Tower Lofts at Spring and 8th nearby recently launched Pattern Bar, the forthcoming UMAMIcatessen, and new Casey Lane gastropub. The lease is signed, but the space is still totally raw and needs to be built out. So, don't expect vodka sodas for quite some time.

In other NCTL news, a second, rather grand art deco restaurant space is on the market just above Crane's on the ground floor, check out the photo above. The landlord is open to contributing with the build for the right operator, 6,000 square feet with 1,000 square foot mezzanine, full liquor CUP. Interested parties can email this girl.
