Here now, a few more details on U Sushi, the new Beverly Hills sushi concept which has claimed the shuttered Famous Cupcakes space on Beverly Drive. Just when you thought pizza was the newest customizable edible prepared in under one minute, nope it's not. Design your own sushi roll could be the next big thing thanks to those behind Ozumo restaurants. According to PR, guests will have the option to select from "40 high-quality, fresh, healthy ingredients and watch as sushi is rolled to order in under a minute with the aid of state-of-the-art 'robot automation.'" Oh dear. CCS Architecture is handling the "sleek and modern" design, and right off the bat, before the restaurant is even open, an eager diner doles out five Yelp stars. Is this sushi of the future?
