Not far from the recently opened Short Order comes another Farmers Market addition, Short Cake, the American baked good brainchild of the late Amy Pressman. Open as of December 16, Short Cake serves this menu of confections which range from sesame date scones to bacon cheddar croissants to roasted banana tea cake. Alongside Short Cake is Single Origin Coffee, a natural fit for a bakery wherein barista master Nik Krankl drips coffee made from single origin beans. Not limited to plain brews, one can also order a a TCHO Mocha or Salted Caramel coffee beverage. It's like Coffee Bean gone way gourmet.
