Last night, between the hours of eight and midnight, Coolhaus and Eater friends and family gathered to celebrate the holiday season, in style. Fugly sweaters bedecked bodies, alcohol flowed freely, though the choice drinks and eats were steamy cups of Coolhaus hot chocolate and scoops of red velvet, gingerbread, chocolate peppermint, pumpkin, and sweet potato marshmallow ice cream. As part of the festivities, Eater readers were asked to create a new Coolhaus hot chocolate flavor. The winning flavor, Maple Bacon Hot Chocolate, was served last night (pictured above), meanwhile readers who suggested the top 15 hot chocolate flavors scored party invites. According to co-founder Natasha Case, those flavors would probably end up as hot chocolates somewhere down the line.
Coolhaus itself is in rapid growth mode and recently started selling its famed ice cream sammies in Whole Foods. Right now 25 SoCal markets stock the product, with only more to come. Check out product packaging up above.
All in all a swell evening, big thanks to Leblon, Ultimat Vodka, Amy Atwood Selections, and Honeydrop.
