VEGAS, BABY— Today, the New York export Old Homestead Steakhouse opened its first west coast operation in Caesars Palace. Some New York standbys grace the menu, as well as dishes "created specifically for the Las Vegas guest," says PR. Those new additions, as follows: Kobe meatballs, prime short rib in a wine reduction sauce, Grandma’s big fat chocolate cake, s’mores, a homemade chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet topped with vanilla bean ice cream, homemade tater tots stuffed with cheese and served with “fat boy” sauce (whipped sour cream topped with cheese and bacon bits), potato gnocchi with truffle butter and oversized baked potatoes.
