Silver Spoon Preps For Indefinite Shutter on December 31

New, 24 comments

BOOM. West Hollywood's staple greasy spoon diner, aptly named the Silver Spoon, has announced its own shutter via window signage: Our last day of Business will be December 31, 2011 and we will be closing at 5:00 P.M. Management does not plan to reopen in another location. Which brings us to Connie and Ted's, the previously mentioned new concept which, back in September, listed chef/owner Michael Cimarusti of Providence and Craig Nickoloff, founder of the Claim Jumper chain, as partners. Interestingly, now the ABC report only files Nickoloff as main officer. While current Silver Spoon employees don't know much about the forthcoming new restaurant, one claims it will be "more fine dining."
