Chef Joseph Mahon's Burger Parlor Goes From Permanent Pop-Up to Permanent Resto, Opening This Spring

New, 4 comments

Former Sona and Bastide chef Joseph Mahon originally described Burger Parlor, his casual burger endeavor in Fullerton, as a "permanent pop-up." By day 108 W. Wilshire Ave. functioned as a restaurant called Rialto, and by night Burger Parlor sprung its creative chef-driven burgers on nearby residents. The concept proved successful and now Mahon is going whole hog with a permanent permanent restaurant at 204 N. Harbor Blvd, also in Fullerton.

Set to open this spring, Mahon will expand on this Burger Parlor menu with classic American comfort food inclusive of a fried chicken sandwich, grilled cheese, pot pie, poutine, and a fried steak burger. Belgian and other craft beers will be paired with specific burgers in mind. For plant eaters, Mahon plans to offer bi-weekly vegan and vegetarian menus.
