Hey, remember nine months ago when intel lead us to believe that La Bottega Marino was on the market, yet management quickly dispelled that rumor? Well, guess what... IT WAS ON THE MARKET. As predicted. And a new restaurant is now underway. Ex-Patina chef Bernhard Mairinger will open an Austrian version of an Italian Trattoria called BierBeisl in mid-January. It's more of a casual situation as opposed to a formal affair, think classic Austrian eats with a modern twist and a selection of imported beer. Also anticipate a stammtisch, or a communal dining table with a separate menu. La Bottega Marino is now shuttered and construction on BierBeisl begins shortly.
