1) Toluca Lake: Off The Twitter Nick Griff reminds us that Melina and Christian Davies open Olive & Thyme, their new market to table retail shop and cafe, today. Come on down for sweets and savories from Valerie Confections, booze selected by Matt Kaner, and Norbert Wabnig's (The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills) choice cheeses. 4013 Riverside Drive; 818-557-1560

2) West LA: Toddrickallen shares interior photos and an initial report on newcomer Rojas Eatery. The small, straightforward Mexican restaurant serves three meals a day focusing on healthful eats composed of locally sourced, mostly organic produce. 11901 Santa Monica Blvd; 310-477-7410

3) SGV: Per a posting on Chowhound, Sichuan eatery Shu Feng Garden has been replaced by a Sichuan/Wuhan hybrid called Happy Eating Restaurants. Like before, not a ton of English spoken here, some of the employees appear to have carried over from Shu Feng days, but there's a new chef in the kitchen plus new management.
