BRENTWOOD After shuttering almost two years ago in Pasadena, Manny's Pizzeria stages its comeback launching a small cafe on Sepulveda. Doors should open any day now. [Grub Street]

HOLLYWOOD Guest of a Guest brings word that NYC nightlife impresarios Paul Sevigny and Andre Saraiva (Don Hill's, Beatrice Inn) will open a new Hollywood nightspot around Hollywood and Ivar called Paul and Andre: Hollywood. Right. And when asked to describe the venue, Saraiva has this to say: "I think it’s going to be something people are not used to seeing, at least in LA. It’s going to be like, let’s smoke cigarettes and get naked. Like that...I want it to be free. No rules, no fame, no photos. It is a place where you can come and be free and do whatever you want.
