DOWNTOWN— Remember LA Reflection, that supposedly Mediterranean eatery by the LAPD headquarters from, er, a year and a half ago? Grub Street steals a glance inside the industrial space which, apparently, is in its final stages of construction. Check out the very very very very very comprehensive (non-Mediterranean) menu here. [Grub Street]
DOWNTOWN— For those who have yet to trek down to Mas Malo, here's one more room within the ginormous space not to miss: the Tequila Vault. The room measures about 8 feet by 6 feet and can seat between 10 and 14 people. Expect about 240 tequilas and over 30 mescals to sample, "It's almost like a chef's table even though it's not in the kitchen." [LAW]
DOWNTOWN— Happy rainy Friday btw. One more downtown bite before the weekend. With regard to to Flying Pig Truck going brick and mortar via the Flying Pig Cafe in Little Tokyo, a reader reports that the restaurant will move "right next to the Johnny Rockets" on Central. [Eater Inbox]
