After a couple of years on Union Street in Old Pasadena, Tede's Cafe (one of the few local businesses with a great Yelp rating), shuttered briefly over the weekend to transform, if only on paper, to TK's Cafe. The phone number, interior, lunch-time hours of operation and most of the menu - a standard mix of salads and sandwiches at reasonable prices - and website design are identical to Tede's, but the management is not. Greg and Mickey Smith have taken over and reopened the quirky cafe as TK's yesterday. More changes to come? Time will tell. — Daniela Galarza
