PACIFIC PALISADES According to Pacific Palisades Patch, Lenny's Deli, which took over The Oak Room and The Village Pantry, should open Monday. Locals can stop by for grand opening festivities including 50% off food. In the meantime, check out the menu. [PPP]

SGV Sinosoul reports that Beijing Duck House has replaced a bar called The Game as of February 20 in San Gabriel. Despite the restaurant's name, its chef is not from Beijing, and Sinosoul is further skeptical about the Beijing situation considering seafood takes up more than a quarter of the menu. Looks like only the prices ring true to Beijing. [Sinosoul via GS]

WEST LA Per Chowhound, West LA is about to land another Japanese market, move aside Nijiya and Mitsuwa, Marukai is set to open March 25. The market has claimed a space which formerly served as a piano outlet at the northwest corner of Pico and Bundy. [Chowhound]
