Inside The Hollywood Regency-Designed Umami Valli

It's interesting to see how each Umami Burger takes on such a unique indentity of its own. The original La Brea space doesn't have much design, Los Feliz feels Asian, Santa Monica relates to Fred Segal, Hollywood appears urban, and now here we have the newest Hollywood Regency-inspired space designed by Allen Ravert (owner of Mexicali Cocina Cantin next door) in Studio City, which opens tomorrow. This location feels surprisingly grand with its marble-topped bar, ubiquitous chandeliers dripping crystal, and bold color scheme. As one can see above, there's a full bar presided over by the resident swan, expect classic cocktails plus Umami's own creations with which one can pair a slew of burgers and sides, such as these.
