Dublin's Reopens, LA Avocado Takedown Chef Call, More!

DOWNTOWN Remember Dublin's? The Sunset Blvd watering hole which relocated downtown toward the end of last year? Well, it abruptly shuttered in October, and now Brigham Yen reports that the Irish pub has finally reopened with the proper permitting. [PREwBY]

SILVER LAKE While we're on the subject of contests, taking over the Bootleg Theatre comes the Los Angeles Avocado Takedown on April 10 at 2PM. Right now there's a call for local cooks (not professional chefs) to step up and show his/her avocado skills, all avocados will be provided the day of, and any recipe calling for avocado is accepted.
