1) West Hollywood: As previously reported, sbe's Mi-6 is under construction to become an Italian restaurant. So far we know that Sam Nazarian is going for a less glossy more bohemian aesthetic (as compared to other sbe joints), think small plates as served at Cleo, but Italian. [EaterWire]

2) West LA: Eater spotted some ply across the street from Hide Sushi for a new noodle concept called Tsujita La Artisan Noodle. Looks like this is a chain out of Japan focusing on a variety of (shocker) noodle and rice dishes. [EaterWire]

3) Highland Park: The Feast catches signage for a new Honduran restaurant near MacArthur Park called Bibi’s Café. No word on opening date just yet. [The Feast]

4) Downtown: Sharlena Fong, creator of Nickel Diner's famed maple bacon donut, is branching out on her own with biz partner Dennis Hunter. The team plans to open Semi Sweet, a sweet and savory bakespot selling "savory meat pockets and buns, croissants, brioches, scones, danishes and a considerable list of cakes and sweet treats." Expect a debut at 105 E. 6th this summer. [blogdowntown]
