dakotaw.jpg Last time we heard from Chef Dakota Weiss, she was cooking 2-star food over at Hotel Shangri-la. Today, The Feast reports that she's moved on to The W Westwood. The menu features comfort food executed with refinement, including items like roasted cauliflower bisque with truffle oil, lobster-brie sliders, and drunk mussels in white wine. A fan of hotel restaurants, Weiss says, “It was time for change. I just needed to refuel and get myself back together ... It was another step in my plan to just take on bigger and bigger hotels.” [The Feast]
