NRN discuses the burgeoning food truck trend which has trickled over into the fast food arena and the growing interest in truck franchising. Many fast food chains already operate mobile vehicles like Carl’s Jr., In-N-Out Burger, and just yesterday Jack in the Box rolled out a 34-foot long brad building/catering truck titled Jack’s Munchie Mobile. However, for many chains, the guidelines for franchising a truck claims new terrain and most franchisors have yet to organize regulations on how such operations will work. [NRN]
