The Tripel Opens Early April, Here's A Look Inside

It's been a while since we heard an update from husband/wife duo Nick Roberts and Brooke Williamson (Beechwood, Hudson House). And while their new beer and wine bar, The Tripel, didn't exactly open in January as originally planned, a new launch has been set for the first week of April. Outside, despite its newness, The Tripel fits in perfectly next to sports bar Prince O' Whales on Culver Blvd., inside checkout the simple, long, wood and metal bar poised to aid in "lubrication." While the beer and wine list is still a work in progress, check out this almost complete roster of eats. Looks for plates like grilled chicory and fennel with dates, pistachios, and blue cheese vinaigrette; red curry coconut milk biscuits served with orange blossom honey and clotted cream; and The Tripel Burger made from duck confit, pork, aged beef, served on an onion brioche bun with truffle pecorino, arugula, and house-made apricot jam.
