WEHO— Unfortunately, not much news by way of Michael Voltaggio's Ink. The eatery sports a fresh coat of gray paint, other than that windows are TIGHTLY covered. [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN— Blackbook reports that early this summer The Perch, a three floor rooftop restaurant/lounge, will debut atop the Pershing Square Building on S. Hill Street (bar portion opens in May). Partners Coly Den Haan and Rachel Thomas (both of The Must) plan to serve "Gallic classics with an American twist" in a non-pretentious art deco space. [Blackbook]
HIGHLAND PARK— In fact, it just so happens that the reason The York appears in that new flick The Lincoln Lawyer is because of yours truly. After introducing the director, Brad Furman, to the bar on several occasions, he became a devoted fan, and the rest...is history. [The Eastsider via Grub Street]
