There's a cupcake war brewing: the owners of New York's Magnolia Bakery, Steve and Tyra Abrams, are suing its co-founder Jennifer Appel, saying she shared recipes and other business secrets that allowed Nicole Kotovos to open an unauthorized location in Athens. Appel, in turn, is suing Kotovos, saying she had no idea the Magnolia name would be used. [NY Post via Eater National]
