James Beard Award-winning chef Michel Richard is staying away from LA but not from the western sect of this country. It's been almost two years since his foiled tenure at Social, but the chef is making a comeback in Vegas with an outpost of his Washington, DC restaurant Central opening in Caesars Palace. Called Central 24/7 by Michel Richard, it will be open (as the name suggests) 24 hours a day. According to a press release, the restaurant "will occupy the current Augustus Café space adjacent to the iconic Caesars Palace hotel lobby," expected to debut late summer 2011. [Eater National]
