Former Ivy Chef Jose Prado Opening Privamera in Beverly Hills

Inspired by family recipes and his last 25 years at celebrity haunt The Ivy, chef Jose Prado feels excited to add one more restaurant to his extended family's collection (Cha Cha Cha, Prado, Cha Cha Chicken, Pinches Tacos) with Primavera, set to open its doors within the next few weeks. Despite the name Privamera, which many might associate strictly with Italian cuisine, Prado's Privamera draws influence from California itself and the diverse collection of neighborhoods that comprise Los Angeles. Patrons can expect locally sourced, market driven California fare with both Latin and European touches, menu highlights include seasonal fresh fish, sweet corn tamales, caribbean chicken with a sweet mango sauce, spicy black pepper shrimp, a chopped salad, and fruit infused sangria. Primavera will serve lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sunday, with brunch offered on Saturday and Sunday.
