1) San Gabriel Valley: The Dumpling House in Temple City is shutting down. Per Chowhound and confirmed over the phone, owners are retiring and do not wish to sell the business. While it used to be a favorite among LA foodies, the quality suffered after a chef shift. Their last day of business is this Sunday. [EaterWire]
2) Los Feliz: Pat & Oscar's, a regional chain known for its breadsticks (they are also sold at CostCo.), has closed its Los Feliz location. The Torrance eatery remains open, as well as other outposts in San Diego and Orange County. [EaterWire]
3) Huntington Beach: Li's, that 47 year old Chinese restaurant on Adams Ave, threw in the towel last week. The owner, Roy Hall sold the space to another investor. More on the new restaurant, tentatively named The Corner, to come. [OC Register].
