Little Tokyo just keeps getting better and better. Up above, another newcomer, Cafe Dulce, which soft opened April 7 and holds its grand debut tomorrow. All baked goods are made on site in that open kitchen pictured up above, expect a mix of French and Japanese technique and flavor to craft Japanese croquettes, baguettes (regular, epi, and 6 gram), almond meringue cookies (also used for ice cream sandwiches), brick toast, and deep-fried Japanese pastries. And, to cut the sweet, there's LA Mill coffee. Down the line Cafe Dulce intends to roll out a menu of Korean-style deli sandwiches with combinations like kimchi and bulgogi. [EaterWire]
