Ken Friedman of The Spotted Pig Checks Out LA Real Estate

Now that Coachella is just a figment of our (hazy) memory, it's time to start thinking Bonnaroo (Coachella on crack in Tennessee), another big deal music fest. Paper Mag catches up with NYC restaurateur Ken Friedman (The Spotted Pig, The Breslin, The John Dory Oyster Bar) who reveals his failed plans to host a Spotted Pig pop-up at Coachella. But, since that didn't work out, he's thinking about hosting a pop-up Spotted Pig at Bonnaroo this year, and one at Coachella next year.

In other highly important news, Friedman was recently on the West Coast checking out real estate in Malibu, Silver Lake, and Hollywood for "another gastropub or a seafood place." Timeline: "I'd guess before a year is out we will open something. I promised my mom we would." Sweetness.
