LAUSD Agrees to Drop Flavored Milk Thanks to Jamie Oliver

Jamie Oliver was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, and he brought John Deasy, the brand new superintendent of the Los Angeles schools, with him! Quite the change from the previous superintendent, who banned Oliver and his show, Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, from the school district altogether.

And it seems like they're already making some progress: Deasy announced that, starting next fall, schools in the LA Unified School District will stop serving flavored milk (that Oliver says has more sugar than soda). See, Oliver, not many people showed up to see you fill that school bus full of "sugar," but it certainly seems like they were paying attention.
