Rama Under Construction Again, Nobu and Puck Cook to Benefit Japan, More!

HOLLYWOOD— On May 3, The Roosevelt hotel plays host for a charitable evening to benefit those in Japan (100% of proceeds go to Japan). And this is actually really quite a good deal: Nobu Matsuhisa (Nobu), Wolfgang Puck, Mako Tanako (Mako), Tim Goodell (Public), and Hideo Yamashiro (Orris) prepare edibles for guests from 7-11PM. Tickets cost $40 for general admission, $100 for VIP preferred seating, or $300 for all access VIP and entrance to Teddy's after.

SANTA MONICA— Now that Acadie has shuttered, westside residents looking for a crepe fix can hit La Cachette Bistro on May 17 from 6PM to close for a French pancake pop-up. "Crepes by Pierre" will serve both sweet and savory crepes, made to order, on the outside patio. [EaterWire]
