As part of Eater's first ever burger week, chefs at six LA restaurants that don't serve burgers agreed to make a special limited edition burger, served just this week and next. Today we highlight our final two burgers, up first the Chile Relleno Burger from Border Grill.
After sampling creations like The Spice Table's Southeast Asian Cheeseburger, Cleo's Shawarma Lamb Burger with Smashed Falafel, and Scarpetta's Caramelized Onion Taleggio Burger, and Toranoko's Tora Burger, up above we have a specimen from Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken available at Border Grill in Santa Monica, Downtown, and Vegas. Her Chile Relleno Burger calls for a patty made from black angus brisket, topped with a roasted poblano chile stuffed with manchego and cotija cheeses, chipotle aioli, tomato, shredded romaine, pickled onions all atop a brioche bun. This burger comes with a side of cumin fries and costs $12. Take a bite through May 8.
