Last week came word of the revamp going down at The Malibu Inn, here now a few more details. An opening dinner date has been set for April 13, with lunch serve to follow on April 14. Managing partners Kelley Jones and Frank Tucker are responsible for recruiting Top Chef alum and consulting chef Angelo Sosa, Jones and Tucker respectively have served as the president of Light Group and Pure Management Group in Las Vegas.
Sosa is still tweaking eats but guests can expect everything from Popcorn Shrimp to Smoked Pork Ribs served with “Smack & Cheese.” Local specialties include CA Coast Mussels, Malibu Sliders, Lobster Roll, and Grilled Swordfish with Green Olives and Tomato Tapenade.
