And here now, the full reveal inside Rosewood Tavern, George Abou-Daoud's neighborhood steakhouse set with exposed brick, painted brick, a long communal dining table, two and four-tops -- all of which lend a sort of gastropub-y feel. The design here doesn't stray too far from many of Abou-Daoud's Hollywood haunts like The Bowery and District, both of which bear that similar hip neighborhood pub feel. Do we perceive a hint of NYC in there? Anyway, the beer list is posted on that chalkboard above the brown banquette, there's some local pulls from Eagle Rock, Craftsman, and Stone, in addition to a range of Scotch and Irish whiskey (plus a full bar, fyi). In addition to New York Strip, Filet, Herb Marinated Skirt Steak, Pork Chops, Rack of Lamb, look for Green Lip Steamed Mussels with Lemongrass and Ginger, and Buratta with Heirloom Tomatoes, Arugula & Sunflower Seeds. Doors open on Friday, hours of operation run Sunday-Thursday, 5PM-midnight, Friday and Saturday, 5PM-2AM.
