SANTA MONICA— Grub Street notices that The OP Cafe on Ocean Park has finished those interior and exterior modifications. The eatery now has a yolk yellow facade, meanwhile the interior is beach-inspired with lifeguard-esque chairs and wallpaper bearing lifeguard imagery. Check out the newly tweaked mixed American menu. DOWNTOWN— On June 6 Chaya kicks off its second annual Japanese beer garden menu offered on the restaurant's patio. Eats like Hokkaido Scallop Miso Gratin and a variety of grilled, skewered meats will be served through September 2, Mon-Fri. [EaterWire]

BURBANK— Today gluten-free market Pam MacDs opened on W. Magnolia near Hollywood Way. The grocery store stocks gluten-free breads, pastas, sauces, breakfast bars, cereals, ice cream, cheesecake, pizza, snacks and cupcakes, in addition to some sandwiches and salads created by Heirloom LA.
