This is so strange. Starbucks is teaming up with Lady Gaga for a PR stint lasting from yesterday through June 3. The ubiquitous coffee chain is hosting a "Gaga-infused scavenger hunt" on Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare in which fans can follow clues about the singer to win prizes. The top prize is special access to one of her concerts in 2012. On the Lady Gaga side of things, this promotion is scheduled to tie in to her May 23 album release of Born This Way. And at least one Starbucks Facebook fan has something to say about this curious collaboration: "Hey Starbucks - because of your lady gaga promotion, I will NOT be visiting your establishment. Stick to coffee...leave the music promos to others." Ouch. [USA Today]
