A reader writes, "hey eaterLA folks! any word on what's going on over there [Re: pioneer chicken on sunset]? construction, and a liquor license hearing... something's up." Some thing is up. Unfortunately, nothing all too interesting. According to an employee at Sunset Nursery next door, into the old Pioneer Chicken space comes... a Del Taco (confirmed by Del Taco's website which lists 4376 W. Sunset as "Coming Soon"). Apparently construction has been slow, though recently ramped up and is now progressing at full-speed. [EaterWire]
