Sir Thomas Keller confirmed to an Eater operative a few months ago that he did, in fact, have plans to open Ad Hoc in LA. Up in Napa, the chef's Ad Hoc fried chicken nights have proven a success (he even has his own fried chicken kit sold at Williams-Sonoma) and over Memorial Day weekend T.Kell tested his fried chicken at Bouchon in Bev Hills. Darin Dines popped by for a taste, and while service was slightly off kilter, the chicken "definitely proves worthy of a return trip alone." [Darin Dines]
