Et voila, some interior shots of Soul Daddy, the winning restaurant concept from that NBC show America’s Next Great Restaurant. Last Monday, Jamawn Woods opened branches of Soul Daddy in LA, Minneapolis, and New York, so far the LA eatery, located in the Hollywood & Highland complex, has accrued three and a half Yelp stars for its healthy homestyle Southern fare.

It's interesting to note that four financiers backed this project, one of which is Chipotle founder Steve Ells. Much in the vein of Chipotle, Soul Daddy, too, fits the fast casual model: order at the counter, grab a booth or seat at a communal table, and a server brings over your plate of pulled pork, waffles, sweet potato salad etc. The overall design is modern industrial and in addition to those interior tables and booths, a few four-tops await diners outside.
